Dr. Hyman, DO

Dr. Daniel A. Hyman was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Exercise Science from Wright State University, where he was also a member of the NCAA Division I tennis team.
He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. Following medical school, he completed a preliminary year in Internal Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed his dermatology residency at the Mark Allen Everett Department of Dermatology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center. During his residency, he was honored with the Thomas D. Urice, MD Resident Teaching Award in 2025.
Dr. Hyman is committed to the comprehensive treatment of dermatologic conditions, ranging from inflammatory skin disorders to skin cancer. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, National Psoriasis Foundation, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
He strongly values a collaborative approach to patient care, emphasizing shared decision-making to develop personalized and effective treatment plans. Outside of the office, Dr. Hyman enjoys exploring the vibrant culinary and arts communities of Northeast Ohio with his wife. His personal interests include tennis, golf, hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with their dog, Weller.
