Botox

Botox is a neurotoxin used to immediately smooth and soften wrinkles of the forehead, frown lines, and around the eyes. Some less common uses for Botox include bunny lines on the upper nose, reducing gummy smiles, and more. Results last from three to six months. Other available neurotoxins include Dysport and Jeuveau.

Botox therapy is also used in the treatment of excessive sweatiness of underarms, palms, and face (called hyperhidrosis). Results from Botox therapy for hyperhidrosis can last from six-eight months.

Botox should only be injected by a qualified and experienced health care professional, who will ensure that you are safe and that your treatment is appropriate for your goals.
