1. CoolSculpting is for all adults

It’s not just for young women looking for perfection. Men and women of all ages can benefit from fat reduction.

“As we get older it becomes even more difficult for us to lose those little bulges and trim down. I hear so often, ‘I never had this before!’ while grabbing onto a new belly. This is where CoolSculpting comes into play. We are able to get great results regardless of age.”

Men are wonderful candidates for CoolSculpting too! As we all know, men can usually lose weight a little easier than women, but it can still be hard for them to lose the last little bit.

Love handles are a big concern for men and CoolSculpting can really sculpt the area giving a more V shaped core.”

2. It’s not that painful

When we say “no downtime” we really mean it.

“The treatment itself is no more than a bit uncomfortable and afterward only a little tenderness is expected. The applicator does form a suction so you will feel that. Once the cooling has begun you will notice immediately that things are getting cold. You will continue to feel this cold sensation for about 5-7 minutes, then the area will become numb and you will not feel it for the duration of the treatment.”

After this, a 2-minute massage is performed on the treated area immediately following and this comes along with an odd sensation as the area is numb. Some people find it a bit uncomfortable, but overall it is well tolerated.

Following treatment, you can go right back to your regular daily activities. You can expect the area to be tender and the numbness can linger for a few weeks, but it is unlikely this will infringe on your day.

3. You may need more than one treatment

While it is a seemingly magical treatment, it does still require commitment. Most people will benefit from having the same area treated at least twice.

“While I cannot say I have never had a patient who only needed one treatment, it is very unlikely. We can reduce approximately 20-25% of the treated area each time we place the applicators. With this in mind at least two treatments in an area are recommended to achieve the best results.”

We like to say it is important to “treat to complete” when it comes to CoolSculpting.

When purchasing your treatment plan the cost is associated with how many times we place the applicator on your body. The more placements, the less money per applicator. To save money in the long run it is best to purchase your entire plan at once.

You would have your first treatment whenever you are ready to begin, and we would schedule your second one three months later.

4. CoolSculpting can be used on many parts of the body!

“CoolSculpting treatments can be done from our chin to our knees! The benefit of multiple applicator sizes and shapes means we can treat the chin, male chest, back fat, upper arms, bra fat, flanks (love handles), upper abdomen, lower abdomen, inner thighs, outer thighs, banana roll (little roll beneath the butt cheek), and above the knee. As you can see there isn’t much CoolSculpting can’t do.”

5. It works!

“With over 7 million treatment cycles performed worldwide, CoolSculpting is the most proven technology in the non-invasive fat reduction marketplace.”
