Widely considered one of the most prestigious business awards programs in the U.S., the program recognizes entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities, while also transforming our world. Dr. Jorge Garcia-Zuazaga was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a black-tie gala on June 13 at the Cincinnati Music Hall in Cincinnati.

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National competition. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 16, 2019. The awards are the culminating event of the Strategic Growth Forum®, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga add this prestigious honor to his numerous other accolades and achievements.
Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga holds undergraduate and Masters degrees in biomedical engineering, a Doctorate from Pennsylvania State University, a Fellowship from Harvard Medical School for Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Additionally, Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga spent 5 years serving in the United States Marine Corps. As a senior flight surgeon, he served as Medical Department head for his squadron and participated in several deployments all over the world. For his leadership and dedication to the Marines, Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga was selected as Marines Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) Operational Flight Surgeon of the Year.
He has been honored with Castle Connolly Top Doctors for 6 years in a row, has earned the American Red Cross Hero Award, and has cured over 20,000 cases of skin cancer.
